Beginning of july, the two Nedo products "Primus 2" and "Quasar 6" won a Red Dot Design Award at the Red Dot Design Gala in Essen.
A distinguished jury selected these two Nedo lasers, out of 4,400 other products sent in, for their outstanding design.
The line laser Quasar 6 is a laser instrument used in interior finishing. It projects horizontal and vertical lines onto ceilings and walls, helping craftsmen to align dry walls, suspend ceilings and perform other tasks besides. Thanks to the outstanding visibility of its laser lines, the instrument is very popular with users.
The rotating laser Primus 2 is used wherever maximum precision is required in structural and civil engineering.
Thanks to numerous patented innovations, the laser offers enormous advantages over competing products.
"The positive feedback we get from our customers, and the award of this design prize, encourage us to keep investing in the design of our products in the future too", says Frank Fischer, managing shareholder at Nedo GmbH & Co. KG.
Nedo has been working for years on the development of new products with prestigious industrial designers to optimize the handling of the laser instruments and to emphasize their high quality and innovative nature.
"The design prize also honours the development engineers at Nedo, who worked hand in hand with the designers", added Dr. Thomas Fischer, managing shareholder at Nedo GmbH & Co. KG.
